What platforms is Big Walk on?
Steam (Windows and Mac), PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. An Epic Games Store version has been announced but its store page is not live yet, so you cannot buy it there today. How much does Big Walk cost?
$19.99 on every platform. Steam is running a 25% launch discount ($14.99 until August 18, 2026). On PS5 it is included with PlayStation Plus until September 2, 2026 — the store lists no tier restriction, so an Essential membership is enough. Details in the price guide.
Do I need PlayStation Plus to play online?
Online play on PlayStation and Nintendo consoles can be subject to each platform's own requirements — check the current terms on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo Store, as they can change.
Co-op and Multiplayer
How many players can play Big Walk together?
2 to 12 players, all in co-op. There is no competitive mode — the whole game is a shared adventure, and the developers fondly call 12-player sessions "an absolute mess".
Is Big Walk crossplay?

Can I play Big Walk with strangers?
No, there is no matchmaking queue. You play with people you invite, or who use your session’s Join Code. Note that a running session is also visible to the friends of everyone already in it, so if you want the group strictly closed, set a session password under Session Details.
Does Big Walk have voice chat?

What kind of game is Big Walk?
A co-op walking-and-talking adventure. You explore an open world, talk your group through problems, and make your way toward the big wall — with no combat and no pressure. The complete guide covers the whole experience.
Is Big Walk suitable for kids?
Largely yes — there is no violence and the tone is gentle and silly. One thing to set up first, though: There is no matchmaking, so nobody is dropped into your session at random. It is not closed by default either: a running session is visible to your friends and to the friends of everyone already playing, and anyone with the Join Code can join. House House recommends setting a session password, which you can do under Session Details — that is the step to take before handing the game to a child. The game is built around open voice chat, so who is in the session matters more here than in most co-op games.
Is Big Walk a live-service game?
No. It is a hand-crafted adventure played start-to-finish, with an ending. No announced microtransactions, seasons or battle passes — a straightforward one-time purchase.
What is the goal in Big Walk?
Get your group to the other side of the big wall. Along the way you explore, unlock new ways to get around, and — according to the developers — there is plenty of time to just hang out and watch the sunset.

Big Walk won't connect online — what do I do?
Work through the online fix guide — version check first (only the first two numbers need to match), then confirm the host is actually loaded into the world, then use a Join Code instead of the friends list, then check the system clock.
