What is Big Walk?

Big Walk is a cooperative online multiplayer adventure about teamwork and talking. You and your friends explore a wide-open world inspired by Wilsons Prom National Park in Australia, solving challenges and puzzles while staying in contact with proximity voice chat, walkie-talkies, gestures and a toolbox of toys.

Big Walk launched on August 4, 2026 for PC (Steam), Mac, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The standard price is $19.99, with a 25% launch discount on Steam ($14.99 until August 18, 2026). On PS5 it is included with PlayStation Plus until September 2, 2026 — the store lists no tier restriction, so an Essential membership is enough. Cross-platform play works across PC, PS5 and Switch 2, so your group can play together no matter which platform each friend owns.

The game supports a minimum of 2 players for a focused co-op experience, or up to 12 players for a complete mess. Communication is the core mechanic: voices fade with distance, echo down corridors, muffle through walls and crackle through walkie-talkies, and when you suddenly find yourself speechless you switch to pointing, waving and flailing to get your point across.
